Global Village
The Global Village is a visual fundraising tool that sets goals and monitors progress as groups and individuals work towards their adopted dream initiative. Fundraising campaigns around the world are created centered around this work of art.
Groups and/or individuals begin by choosing a problem they are passionate about and wish to remedy. Through a series of fundraisers, benefits, charity performances, etc. money is raised to be put towards the adopted dream. As more and more money is raised, the Village fills with stickers documenting proceeds. In the mind of a dedicated and committed volunteer or child, each sticker represents a dream come true. A completed Village is a beautiful and sustainable representation of a community and world made better by the caring actions of it’s owner.
This powerful campaign is at the heart of the Dream Leader and Workplace Giving programs, encouraging youth to make a life changing difference today and become leaders at home and abroad.
